COMPANY DIRECTOR, FOUNDER, DIRECTOR & PRODUCER Jessica Sanderson (Ngāti Kahungunu, Te Ātiawa, Pākehā) has over ten years of experience as a television director. Jessica’s training in Design (Massey University), her expertise as a film director (‘Ways To See’), creative producer (TVNZ Blacksand), and editor (Tikilounge Productions) – bring a holistic and experienced lens to the preparation, production, and post-production process. Her most recent television projects include being co-director and producer for FOURPLAIT’s production ‘Ahi Wānanga’, Episode 4 of ‘Shepherdess’ (Pōrangahau) as a guest director and series director of ‘Moko’ – an 8-part series on the revival of tā moko produced by Velvetstone Media. Jessica is now soley focused on FOURPLAIT productions and clients.

FOUNDER & PRODUCER • Olly Coddington (Ngāti Tūwharetoa, Ngāti Whakaue) has been working in the Aotearoa broadcasting industry for over 20 years, in a range of roles – behind the scenes and in front of the camera. His recent producer credits include; Co-Producer of in house production ‘Ahi Wānanga’, Tikilounge’s ‘Game Of Bros’ Season 3, ‘Fresh’ Seasons 8-11, and a boutique online product under Whakaata Māori – ‘He Kohinga Kōrero: Advancing Māori Aspirations’. He is passionate about making entertaining content with meaning and supporting crew to ensure projects are successful and enjoyable to work on. He may also be recognised by millennials as the former presenter of ‘Mai Time’, ‘IAMTV’ and ‘2KAHA’.

PRODUCER • Vanessa Hawken (Pākehā, nō Aerani, Kōtarania, Ingarani) has over two decades in Aotearoa’s screen industry, Vanessa combines logistical precision, creative intuition, and a deep commitment to every project. She has produced, line produced, and production managed large-format entertainment like MASTERCHEF and award-winning Māori and Pasifika dramas such as TEINE SĀ and INKY PINKY PONKY. Vanessa is passionate about stories that foster understanding, especially those with an indigenous dimension, and believes storytelling is a powerful tool for connection. She joined Fourplait in 2024 as a co-producer and line producer on in-house productions ‘Ahi Wānanga’ (due for release 2025) and Journey of Scent (currently in production).
